Dr Sue Hewett (Morrow)
Doctor of Chiropractic/Clinical Manager Bsc (Hons); Msc; D.C.
BCA & GCC Registered
Sue was born in Liverpool and spent much of her childhood training and competing as a national standard competitive swimmer.
She graduated from her first degree in Sport and Exercise Science in 2000, and following this had a successful career as a personal trainer. She also trained as a Holistic Nutritionist/Reiki Master during this period.
After some complex health problems that lead her to a Sacro-Occiptal Chiropractor, Sue decided to give up her career and go to study Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan in South Wales. She graduated with a Master's Degree in 2009, and since then, has pursued post graduate study in Sacro Occipital Technique. This technique is a specialised form of Chiropractic, which encompasses specific gentle adjustments of the skeletal system, visceral (organ) system, and Craniopathy.
Dr Zara McGinnity (Doctor of Chiropractic)
Doctor of Chiropractic; Msc; DC
GCC & SCA Registered
Zara was always fascinated by the human body growing up, she decided quite early on that she wanted to work in the healthcare setting, however it wasn't until she was in college she found chiropractic.
Working part time in a warehouse, Zara couldn't believe how many, otherwise fit and healthy, people suffered from back and neck pain. Disillusioned with the lack of relief people seemed to get from the various painkillers they were taking she decided to explore alternative therapies and the rest is history. From the beginning of her degree to the present Zara has just fell more and more in love with chiropractic and what it can do to improve quality of life for so many people!
In 2010, Zara graduated from the Welsh Institute of chiropractic with a Distinction. In the following year she furthered her university education by completing her post graduate certificate in chiropractic management of the pregnant patient. Since then Zara has completed further training in Chiropractic treatment techniques such as SOT along with other therapies such as acupuncture.
